72nd RA Keelboat Regatta Seaview 22/23 May
The 72nd RA Keelboat Regatta will be taking place at the Sea View Yacht Club on the
22-23 May 2018. Last year was a superb event and this year will be even better!
29 Cdo took the honours last year so it will be really interesting to see if the Thorney Island Regts can regain the top positions or will
another Regt come forward to show their dominance!
Speak to your Regt 2ICs for details of entry or cloick on the AI and Entry Forms in the right hand column of the Website.
It would be great to see some veteran entries too competing against the Regimental teams!
RA Dinghy Regatta AISTC - 28th June
Please see the calling notice for the annual dinghy training and regatta held at
AISTC(S), Thorney Island on the right hand column. This event provides the opportunity for those interested in dinghy sailing to try it out
as well as gain an RYA qualification. The Regatta itself is a one day event held at the end of the training period open to all RA Officers
and Soldiers eligibility is laid down within the calling notice.
This event is historically well supported and I hope that this will continue into the future. It is a fantastic opportunity for a
few days away to take part in a sporting event and gain a qualification, as well as a day away competing against fellow soldiers and
officers for those that cannot attend the full week.
